How can anyone else love you if they don’t see you loving yourself? So love yourself! You’re worth it! It took me 24 years to learn that, but I think it has finally sunk in.

I’m Hayley, I’m Sixteen, We’re all beautiful!
From when i was little, i was told that i had to be thin to be beautiful, i was bullied, called names, and generally put down by people who were supposed to be my friends. I was really insecure about a lot f my body, my tummy, my arms, legs, hair. Everything. I hated looking in mirrors and i stopped doing the one thing i loved..swimming.
I moved to Wales when i was 10, i noticed how perfect all the girls were, they were everything i’d always dreamed of being, tall, slim, gorgeous. At the age of 11 i started wearing make up, i used to take it to school putting it on and wiping it off before i came home, i dyed my hair from the natural ginger to black, then purple, then black and red, all the hiding behind the smile, behind the make up and hair dye under my baggy clothes was mentally exhausting. I was quiet, i had few friends, but i started noticing that everyone’s bodies were different shapes, sizes, but they looked perfect on them, they suited them, i began to feel more comfortable in my own skin, i came out my shell, spoke to more people, gained my friends, and started feeling happy. By the age of 14 i was happier in my skin than i had ever been, i’d never been so happy, i felt pretty.
I got my first boyfriend at the age of 14 and he loved the way i looked, the way i was, he just wanted me for me. He never put me down. I was happier than ever. I’m now sitting my A-Levels, i have amazing friends who love me the way i am, i have down days where i want to cry but my friends never let it last long, they tell me how gorgeous they think i am. I’m so happy in myself right now, im proud to be bigger because i wouldnt be me any other way and my boyfriend loves me the way i am. I wear make up because i like how it looks, i dye my hair because i like how it looks not because im ashamed of being natural. I embrace my curves, my boobs, my hips, im happy with it.
Every single one of you are gorgeous, no matter what shape, size or colour you are, you’re perfect in your own way, embrace your individuality, and remember…you are beautiful.
God she’s beautiful! :D <3 I hope everyone can learn to love their bodies! Sure, we all have our flaws, but that doesn’t mean we can’t love ourselves. After all, love isn’t about being perfect, it’s about loving an imperfect person perfectly!
